West Chester Liberty Weekly – Cozy’s Cafe

Sports are not only great because of amazing athletes defying physics almost every single night and doing things with their bodies we could only dream about. But the fans make sports just as great in the process, especially when they are in attendance. From no shirts when it’s 10 degrees out or painting up the entire body in the teams’ colors, the occasional streaker only to eventually take a blindsided hit from security. These actions add excitement to the games we all love, but what about those fans who take it to a whole new level? The fans who make a permanent decision that only a few select are willing to do?

I was scrolling through my newsfeed this morning and came across this…

Homeboy said, I love you long time, Joey B. Hats off to you, buddy. I love it. I would never do it, but I love it.

Anyways, I don’t know why this one took so long because if you ask me, it’s probably one of West Chester Liberty’s best staples, and it’s only in our backyard. I enjoy promoting these types of places just a little bit more. Emily and I met some great friends at Cozy’s Cafe this weekend, and like always, Cozy’s did not disappoint. Even though I did not consume it this past weekend, I’ve yet to find a restaurant with a better carrot cake. And if you haven’t had it, you might want to consider asking for two or three forks so you can share. It’s not a slice; it’s a wedge. And it’s delicious.

Their entire menu is delicious. My favorite is their fried chicken, and if we are there for brunch, the fried chicken and waffles. We ordered up three appetizers, fried zucchini, calamari, and a spinach and cheese dip. And, of course, the complimentary biscuits that melt in your mouth. Emily loves their burger; three others had the ribeye, which no crumb was left behind.

And yes, I said brunch. Cozy’s serves up brunch on both Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 2 pm, and it too is fantastic.

And it’s not just the food, the “cozy” cottage-style house that you get to dine in, the staff is always friendly, and if you’re a bourbon fan, they’ve got quite the selection, so I’m told.

Whether a date night or a night out with some friends, one cannot go wrong with a visit to Cozy’s Cafe.

My grade, 10.
