| Alright, we’ve been down this road before but hear me out. Any day of the week I’ll take a baked dish of some sort over ice cream for dessert. It’s just a fact, Jack.
Let me tell you, we may have just found the end all be all to for a one stop shop for dessert. I stopped into The Peach Cobbler Factory right there next to Esporta Fitness on Tylersville Road. I think it used to be a froyo place but ultimately had to close up shop. Not saying that I’m happy about it but froyo ehh, cobble mmmm!
They have three categories to choose from. Listen to this or should I say, read this… Cobbler obviously, cinnamon rolls, and banana pudding. All of which have several options to customize. You can have sweet potato pecan cobbler, apple butter cinnamon rolls, or even butterfinger banana pudding! I guess I got there a little early because my heart was set on that sweet potato pecan cobbler but the sweet potatoes weren’t done cooking yet. It was early in the day so no biggie. And that’s pronounced pee-can for you illiterates out there that say pah-con. But there are several options for each dish and I’ve put a link at the bottom of this that will show you everything!
So I rolled with my second choice, the honey apple cobbler. I was taking it to go for two other people so I asked if I could do whipped cream instead of the vanilla ice cream that comes with most, to which they obliged, just because it would probably melt by the time I’d get it to them. After eating that whipped cream, I’m not sure I’ll ever get the ice cream that comes with it. That whipped cream was no Cool Whip! That was the real deal!
This is a must try, especially with the weather getting colder, this warm dessert is sure to hit the spot. My grade, 9.1!
