New year, new us, right? Don’t worry; I have a foolproof method on how not to fail those New Year’s resolutions. Here it is. Are you ready? Don’t make any! Make a few changes that you think can help improve you that won’t cause you anxiety and stress! Instead of cake four times a week, bring it down to two or three!
With the price of everything going up these days, it may be easier to cut back on those meal finishers like ice cream and warm fresh, from-the-oven pie. Nah!
Lucky for us, Emily and I had a gift card to Texas Roadhouse that we decided to use on Saturday night. I know a lot of you have been there, but if you haven’t, maybe this pushes you over the top to give it a shot. It’s one of the more consistently solid food franchises we frequent, and one of the biggest reasons starts with that cinnamon butter for those freshly made rolls. This is no joke, these rolls will come out hot, and when you watch that creamy cinnamon butter melt immediately, so much so that it drips in your hands, you know you’re at the right place.
From their appetizers like the famous cactus blossom, a Texas-sized, golden fried onion, to their hand-cut steaks, to their country-fried chicken, it’d be possible to leave them unsatisfied. And for those counting calories, you’re at the wrong place.
As newer parents, it’s also nice to have a kid’s menu that will keep them coming back for more. June had the Ranger Rib Basket, and not sure they survived much longer than 2o minutes.
Here’s the thing: get the app and check in early before heading there or carrying out. If you think you can roll up around dinner time, especially on the weekends, you might want to bring a crossword or two to kill some time while you wait for a table.
My grade 9.0. Independent places will always get a little more love from me, but we are better off having one of these in a backyard. It will always be a good option for any night of the week!
